We were appointed as Architects and Principal Designers for the New EUROSPAR store at Castlewellan Road, Newcastle by Henderson Group and our brief was to demolish the existing store and provide a new contemporary retail convenience store and petrol filling station. The total gross floor area of the new EUROSPAR of approx 8,800ft2 has been designed with the storage, staff areas and offices generally at first floor overlooking the ground floor retail area.
The bright, open, modern feel of the store has been designed to be one of the best retail stores of it’s kind in Northern Ireland. The standard palette of materials and colours used by Henderson Group have been incorporated in to the modern design to provide a comfortable retail design. The highly glazed contemporary frontage allows for the light to flood in and out of the shop to provide an attractive location at all times of the day and year.
