The first certified Passivhaus Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) in Belfast
Planning Approval has been granted for a new purpose-built managed student accommodation (PBMSA) for Queen’s University Belfast located on Dublin Road, Belfast. Which will provide Northern Ireland’s first Passivhaus student accommodation, and the largest certified Passivhaus project on the island of Ireland.
RPP Architects have been engaged by Graham, to develop design proposals comprising 459 bedrooms, communal facilities and amenity spaces. At 17 stories and in a prominent location, the development will form a significant enhancement to the city center and for student living. While also offering the first ultra-low emission multi-occupancy building in the city centre.
The scheme is due to commence on site in 2024.
