RPP Architects designed and delivered alterations and refurbishment of the existing Maternity, Gynaecology and Post-Natal Wards.
Works included a new 6 bed ward for Ante-natal/pre-delivery care, Birthing Suite, Treatment Rooms, Nurses Station, Staff Training Room and DDA compliant wet room and sanitary facilities.
The works were undertaken within a ‘live’ hospital environment and were phased to minimise disruption to core services. Complex Project Programming was required at design stage to facilitate departments and services beyond the immediate works vicinity.
Extensive coordination with Estates, Clinical user groups, Facilities Management, Domestic Services and Infection Prevention & Control, informed our integrated design which led to a high standard of build quality, interior finish and successful project delivery.
