RPP Architects have completed the recent refurbishment of Wilton House at 5-6 College Square North in Belfast. The project aimed to transform the vacant B2 listed building into modern and luxurious apartments while retaining the classic features and charm of the original design by Thomas Jackson in 1820- 1837.
The refurbishment project, completed in 2023, was a significant undertaking that involved restoring and upgrading many of the building’s original features as well as 15 new build apartments to the rear.
RPP Architects aided by Consarc Design Group worked closely with Poplar Investments Ltd. to ensure that the finished apartments would meet the highest standards of modern luxury living while remaining true to the building’s historic roots.
The result is a stunning apartment complex of 23 apartments that seamlessly blends the old and the new. The original Georgian facade and grand entrance hall have been meticulously restored, while the 15 new build apartments themselves feature modern design and high-quality finishes. RPP Architects’ expertise in combining historical preservation with contemporary design has helped to create one of Belfast’s most sought-after residential developments.
